Baby Skin Review

Hello lovelies!

Today I am back with a review for a beauty product that has just recently came out, the Maybelline Baby Skin! I knew they sold this in Japan, but I was walking in Walmart the other day and saw it in the makeup isle. I was so excited because I've been wanting to try this for a long time. 

Baby skin is an instant pore eraser and primer. You put it on before your foundation and concealer. This product works really well. It visibly reduces the size of pores and makes your skin feel super soft. 

I always get drawn into buying makeup because of the packaging and the packaging on this product is so cute, just like the baby lips. 

This product is very nice. It comes outa clear gel kind of and blends in really well. You can't even tell your wearing it. 

I recommend buying this product if your looking for a good primer, the price is unbeatable. You can find it at Walmart and I think ulta and it is around $5.

Teen Choice Awards

Tonight is the Teen Choice Awards on fox and I can't wait. I love the Teen Choice Awards because it is so fun to watch. This year Lucy Hale (from Pretty Little Liars) and Darren Criss (from Glee) are co-hosting this year. What I am most excited about is the whole Glee cast is going to be there as a tribute to Cory (which will probably make me cry).

Back to school

Classic Outfit
This outfit is an outfit that isn't to fancy, but isn't to laid back either. This outfit is good for girls who don't like to wear dress's and skirts, but still want to look kinda fancy on the first day. This outfit is a classic outfit that you can wear any day. I hope you liked my outfit ideas for school. It took me forever to put this up because when I first attempted to write this it started to thunderstorm and I didn't wan to get shock by lighting with my laptop on my computer. So I tried to save the draft, but it wouldn't let me, so I just had to exit out of it and I lost half of what I wrote.

Style Tips: Key Pieces

Key Pieces in a Wardrobe

The following items are versatile and can help you build your wardrobe. These pieces are key in establishing your personal style. With these key pieces, you can dress them up or down to go with your personal styles. 

• Little Black Dress: Finding a good fitting dress is essential. And thankfully, this isn't difficult since almost every clothing company/designer offers some sort of "little black dress." Wether yours is A-line or strapless, a wrap style or a standard tank, you can wear it with anything to dress it up or by itself and make it timeless. 
• Jeans: Denim is necessary in any wardrobe. And regardless of your body type, with all the styles out there, you can surely find a pair that suits you perfectly. You can wear jeans almost anywhere. A dark wash is more versatile; blacks and deep blues are super flattering and they look nicer too.
• Collared Button-Down: Some pieces are just classes, still around eras after there original outing. Even though they may be updated every now and then, you can where the same piece for decades to come. You can style one to look sophisticated or make it edgy and daring. There are unlimited ways to style this classic.
• Skirt: When you need to look a little bit fancy, a skirt is a great essential. Sure, dress accomplish the same thing, but skirts are more versatile. You'll get more bang for your buck, dressing it down with a t shirt and flats or with a blouse and heels for an evening out.
• Boots: The perfect pair of boots are based entirely on your personal preferences. And they definitely come in handy, in between colder seasons. Remember though, the often face the roughest weather, so don't forget to get them treated.
• White and Black Tops: These key pieces are the glue that holds outfits together. Also, the don't distract from the centerpiece of your outfit. You can wear these tops with anything. They work well with any outfit. Plus black and white go with anything, color wise.
• Black Heels: Make sure your heels are comfortable and practical, even if they are not spectacular. A nice pair of black heels will help dress an outfit up, without losing that much cash from your pocket. 
• Coat: Everyone looks great in a coat and they are fun to shop for, too. Plus these are an essential for the winter time. You need a coat, so why not buy a stylish one that you can look forward to putting on when you go out in the cold. These pieces of your wardrobe are fashionable and functional. So you'll be warm and cozy while feeling confident in your style.

Baby Lips Electro Review!

Maybellines new Baby Lips Electro are amazing. The neon colors are unique and gorgeous on your lips. This new line came out with six new colors, minty sheer, fierce tangy, pink shock, berry bomb, strike a rose, and oh orange. The colors are vibrant and daring in the tube, but when applied to lips, come out sheer and girly. They are ultra moisterizing and make your lips from chapped to soft. 

These products are hard to find, but worth the hunt. Good places to look are Ulta and Walmart. If you can find them at Walmart, they are less money. 

Be daring without the fear of not looking your best. With this lip balm, your lips will be softer and looking gorgeous without trying hard. 

So, if happen to come across these in your local store, I recommend picking up a few! 

Lauren Conrad's Book

Hey guys! Long time no post. Anyway I just wanted to say if you are a new comer into beauty, make up, and fashion you should check out Lauren Conrad's book, Style. Ipsy June 2013 Bag Review

Guess what guys! Today I am doing the review for my first ever Ipsy glam bag! If you do not know what Ipsy is, it is a subscription services that sends you a bag with deluxe sized make up samples each month! YouTube beauty gurus like Bethany Mota and Michelle Phan are stylist for the website also! It is only $10 a month and you get some great products, so I would recommend checking it out! The website is www.ipsy.com 

Anyway I am going to share with you the products I received this month and my thoughts on them! First I would like to say I have seen other months bags and this one is probably the best to me and I am so glad I got this one as my first one. I will probably do another post explaining how I found ipsy and why I decided to subscribe to it. 

So the theme this month was on the wild side. The first thing was the bag which was cheetah printed with lime green detailing. The bag goes with the theme very well and I think it is so cute.
Inside the bag was plenty of goodies! The first thing that caught my eye was the full size nyx blush in copper
This color is really pretty, but more of a bronze color. Considering I have a light skin tone I will
probably use this as a bronzer. This is the product I am most excited about because nyx is one of my favorite makeup brands. This blush is very pigmented and is not completely matte. I think it has a little reflex in it. The retail price of this product is $5 so that is basically have the price of the bag right there.
The next thing in the bag is a sparkling cream palette by j.cats. I got the Volta palette. At first I was really excited about this palette, but once I tested the colors I saw that the glitter is really gritty. Also if you try putting this on top of an eyeshadow, it will just take the eyeshadow off completely. I believe that is because of the oily base in these eye glitters. It is going to be really hard to apply because the glitter likes to clump together. This product retails for $4.49
The next product, which I absolutely love is the Cailyn line fix gel eyeliner. I got the shade iron, which is just a shiny black color. I am really excited about this product because I have heard many good things about it and I love gel eyeliners. This gel eyeliner comes with a built in brush to apply the eyeliner with. The eyeliner is going to stay for a while and once you let it dry it is smudge prove. This product retails for $21
The next product is a lip liner from starlooks
I recived the color bare, which is a nude pinkish color. The color is very nice and the pencil applies smoothly. The color applies well and will last all day. This product retails for $12. I can't wait to try this product. I don't really use lip pencils, but I believe this one will get a lot of use out of it.
The last product I got was the Chella ivory lacehighlighted
I am excited to use this product. You apply this under your eyebrows to highlight them. This also applies smoothly and I really like it! This product retails for $18 and I can't wait to use it. I am excited to use this to define and highlight my eyebrows.
That is all I recived this month in my Ipsy glam bag! I really loved everything I got is this bag and I recommend it to anyone you loves make up and trying new products.
