Key Pieces in a Wardrobe

The following items are versatile and can help you build your wardrobe. These pieces are key in establishing your personal style. With these key pieces, you can dress them up or down to go with your personal styles.
- Little Black Dress: Finding a good fitting dress is essential. And thankfully, this isn't difficult since almost every clothing company/designer offers some sort of "little black dress." Wether yours is A-line or strapless, a wrap style or a standard tank, you can wear it with anything to dress it up or by itself and make it timeless.
- Jeans: Denim is necessary in any wardrobe. And regardless of your body type, with all the styles out there, you can surely find a pair that suits you perfectly. You can wear jeans almost anywhere. A dark wash is more versatile; blacks and deep blues are super flattering and they look nicer too.
- Collared Button-Down: Some pieces are just classes, still around eras after there original outing. Even though they may be updated every now and then, you can where the same piece for decades to come. You can style one to look sophisticated or make it edgy and daring. There are unlimited ways to style this classic.
- Skirt: When you need to look a little bit fancy, a skirt is a great essential. Sure, dress accomplish the same thing, but skirts are more versatile. You'll get more bang for your buck, dressing it down with a t shirt and flats or with a blouse and heels for an evening out.
- Boots: The perfect pair of boots are based entirely on your personal preferences. And they definitely come in handy, in between colder seasons. Remember though, the often face the roughest weather, so don't forget to get them treated.
- White and Black Tops: These key pieces are the glue that holds outfits together. Also, the don't distract from the centerpiece of your outfit. You can wear these tops with anything. They work well with any outfit. Plus black and white go with anything, color wise.
- Black Heels: Make sure your heels are comfortable and practical, even if they are not spectacular. A nice pair of black heels will help dress an outfit up, without losing that much cash from your pocket.
- Coat: Everyone looks great in a coat and they are fun to shop for, too. Plus these are an essential for the winter time. You need a coat, so why not buy a stylish one that you can look forward to putting on when you go out in the cold. These pieces of your wardrobe are fashionable and functional. So you'll be warm and cozy while feeling confident in your style.
